When you play NG+, you will have your existing armor on from the previous playthrough, but there are 4 "new" stages of armor (legendary, legendary enhanced, legendary superior, and legendary mastercrafted).

Since every level up requires the same amout of XP, the level you start NG+ on just becomes your new Lv1 and the recommended level scaling remains the same. In other words, once you go move on to quests that had a recommended level of 6 or higher in a normal game you'll only see Lv105 enemies in NG+. The recommended quest level will still say
New Game Plus too easy. Hi everyone i went Back to the Witcher 3 and startet a new Game Plus with an old character on Deathmarch. After a while i kinda feel its "too easy" I have advanced oils for everything and a few superb potions. I always feel like enemies go down way too fast and its not really that challenging. After completing the quest "The Play's the Thing", advertisements for the play can be seen around Novigrad with the caption: "The delightful new comedy from the producers of "Everything you always wanted to know about dwarves but were afraid to ask"", a reference to the 1972 movie "Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex * But Were Afraid to Ask".

Be it 30 or 60.. or anywhere in between. Starting at lvl 50 is actually pretty ideal. You shouldn't get locked out of use of the best steel sword in the game.
