Insert the ignition key and turn from position II (Ignition) to position 0 (All off) and back four times within three seconds. Remove the ignition key. The locking control system is now in "learn mode" for the next 20 seconds and the red warning system LED (By the clock) stays on continuously to indicate this.This did not solve the issue. They also replaced the battery as it went flat at one point (possibly unrelated). They eventually sent it to Ford, who have apparently replaced the whole dashboard! We then picked it up yesterday and I now see Phone, Radio, iPod features etc. on the dashboard! I also now have voice control which never worked before.

All the windows and door locks etc work apart from the drivers sidei back door. So I dug out the good old Haynes manual and found the wiring diagrams for the door modules. Looks like LIN 1 is a Grey / Yellow cable, not a purple one, that must be for focus’ or others. IzMRkGx.
